You are so right about a bumpy ride. Last week while I was facilitating training, Connie kept opening The Book and leaning over to my boss and another trainer. Her expression was one of disapproval. I was not training from The Book.
I was furious ... I allowed her to get to me
Later in the week she revealed to someone that she wants to work with our organization and do what I am doing. Word got back to me that Connie was after my job. I don't mind that - there's room at the table - but what got my ire was her desire to shine at my expense. Why are people like that? </div></div>
well at least you know what her objective is and you can view everything through that prism

. Before my workshop, she offered at least five times to help with setting things up, "Peasie, how can I help you rearrange the room?" or "Peasie, would you like me to flipchart for you?"
I noticed that a few other staff did not appreciate when she did this.
