So a colleague of mine decided that she wants go with two of her friends (all women) for a weekend trip to let off some steam after they had finished a long and difficult project that they had worked on successfully. So she tells her husband while preparing herself to deal with push back from his end, only to be told...<span style="font-style: italic">&quot;sounds like a great idea, you all deserve it, go and have a good time&quot;.</span>

Now she is having second thoughts and saying that he sounded &quot;oddly supportive&quot;.

*sigh*

He's supposed to question her on all aspects of the trip, pretend to be jealous of who she may meet, be reluctant to be down with the plan and give in only grudgingly while all the time muttering things like &quot; so what am I supposed to do without you all weekend&quot; etc.

Then she could go off feeling highly satisfied that all is well in her little world.
