hush. di likkle one a di groom now (32) but him a mi mother last pickney. him was bout 12 when she died and we (me 18 and mi older bredda 19.5) were di ones looking after him and getting di empty promises. dis last one was the only one she had fi dat man.

deark, honestly i coulda do widdout him being there but it wasn't up to me. i basically forgot about him until him start show himself and up inna everything. even as i was doing di toast mi honestly never even tink bout him. all mi was thinking is how mi wish mi modda cuda been there, how she woulda proud and how we all were so lucky fi have other people step in and tek care a we. like dem used to seh, she a blow good breeze pon mi.

i was happy to see mi bredda so happy and hear all the good things him friends from church seh bout him but mi cudden help think bout how mi did used to change him nappy dem
