Suppose you found out that your Mom was having an affair, you really love and respect your Step Dad, you love him more than your sperm donor Dad [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] what would you do [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] You also love your Mom and know this is wrong but loyalty prevents you from saying anything. Stepdad is hard working, great provider for you and Mom, before Mom met him she was really struggling after the divorce, going to school and was facing eviction. Stepdad steps in and life changed, he is a real Dad to you and you cannot see having a life if he is not there.

Mom suspects that you know, but says stuff like he is just a friend but you know different cause you caught them kissing. Stepdad would be so crushed and Mom would hate you if you told. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70367-help.gif[/img] also they might break up. Also you are a little bit selfish because you know your lifestyle would change financially. Mega thingy tho is you really really love your Stepdad and do not want to see him hurt.

Anyway, I am posting this here as I do not know anyone here feel better saying it (typing)it is better than telling someone I actually know and then getting into trouble.

In any case, my first response to stay out of it, would have been the same, regardless of which parent she thought was cheating.

[img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] You need to make UR mom feel uncomfortable about what she is doing and don't hide the fact from her that you saw her kiss the other man- [img]/forums/images/graemlins/bannana_purple.gif[/img] you can bring up the heat on her without having to break a good man's heart. Life is strage and truth is even stranger than fiction. I've had some pretty decent people step out(cheat) on their loved one/ mate and confess it to me [img]/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]. What it ultimately boiled down to was unmet needs. They think all is fair in love and war but they are [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70459-lyad.gif[/img] .
