If I knew then what I know now

What advise would you give a 20 something who is just entering college? I had a conversation with a 50 year old man who would advise young men to find their mate in their 20s and marry before 30. Do you agree?

How about children- better to start early, or wait till more settled?

What about characteristics in a mate- what to look for?

Did anyone ever have a talk with you about relationships/marriage?

study hard, use ur offtime well, choose subjects that interest you, find what you really want to do in life
choose your mates carefully
dont post anything on social network sites that you will later regret

socially/mentally...u affi mek sure u got enough partying in ur system so dat incase u affi miss out pan few sessions u dont feel &quot;deprived&quot; cus u been dere done dat. i dont think its healthy if u start feeling like dam bcus of these bloody kids mi cyan go no weh. u should be at a level in ur life where that thought goes as quickly as it came.

Great advice. Mates and also friends should be chosen wisely- I still have some dear friends from younger years.

What to do with offtime though?

Great thoughts. I was trying to think what I learned and who taught me about relationships. Sadly, not much advice given. We did get strong emphasis on education, but relationships :hmm: boys only want one thing was one message

Oh I had an aunt who encouraged having kids early so the body could 'bounce back' and also grow up with the kids. Other than that no advice :hmmm:
