Switching roles

I've been hearing about several hubbies who love to cook and are the ones who do most if not all of the cooking!! (I so did not luck out in that category ). In fact one hubby even bakes- and loves to do it!!

Anybody have anything they love to do that's usually reserved for the other sex? Did your partner?

mines love to shop...so much so dat i have tuns of diapers to return and some weh mi affi go try sell on kijiji cus di boxes got thrown out in order to make space to store more diapers.

I have had a few who liked to cook and were better at it than I was (or I let them think they were ).

I think the most interesting ex was from Chicago who grew up in a house with a single mom and 5 sisters. He could sew, and I don't mean just putting on a button or hemming.. He could make an outfit without using a pattern. He said money was very tight when he was growing up so they had to be creative if they wanted to dress well.

mrKia loves to cook so I let him do it I will start the protein and he will finish up the dinner which includes going to the garden to chop the callaloo

if I cut the callaloo and let it sit for an hour b4 cooking it, he complains it not 'fresh'

I am the lan administrator of the house, and he manages the connection for the entertainment system.

@Tulip. I think it is wonderful that a man can sew. In North America it is a dying art. I remember going with my dad to the tailors in JA where he got his suits made

I can barely sew, my mom can and every now an again she does stuff for the kids. I have a major disconnect with her over her fabric choices (polly & her cousin esther) .. I feel if it is going to be made den use the right fabrics

anyway.....if he is macho enough and I am busy enough, i would luvvv to come home and dinner is ready, flowers in vases, vacum is done, kids dun dem h/w and chilling

so me can kick off me heels, get a rub down, a chupsie and my dinner placed before me,

Vegas- your guy loves a bargain eh?

TUlip Mr. Chicago sounds like he'd do well on one of those reality shows. Did he have a creative job? Sounds like most people see a man sewing as a questionable task but I'm sure there are many male designers who are straight!! Even curtains. I just dont know many people (men or women) who make their own clothes anymore.
