I think I may have crossed the line this morning

I don’t know what came over me, but I asked my dad about whether he and mom still have sex.

As evidentiary support to “not”, I mentioned that they never locked their bedroom door when I was growing up. I’m here so obviously they did at one point, but I didn’t think they did for a number of years.

His response was “Yeahhhhhhhhh goodness. We just had to make sure you were sleep back then." Halt! Enough! Eww!

I think it might have been his enthusiastic response that did me in. Awkward! I immediately started talking about cell phone cases.

I feel a lil sick on the stomach right now, but I guess when you ask a question, you take what you get.

Wow Tulip you certainly have a great relationship with your parents to be able to ask you father such a question. I bet you never expected that answer. My friend tells me that her grand who is now 94 dated and had a 'boyfriend' until she was nearly 80. Seniors are old they are not DEAD.

To get grown children to move out of their house, parents may consider boisterous sex with unclosed doors. Other activities such as wearing revealing lingerie, grabbing your spouse's privates, licking your lips while leering at your spouse, etc. are guaranteed incentives to have said adult children leave their childhood home and branch out on their own.

It is hard to say what happened but I didn;t like it. I have decided to not make any part of it my concern even though I could blow chunks out my throat this moment.
