Some people find rings uncomfortable. I can only wear a ring (ANY ring) for so long and it starts to make me crazy, no matter how comfortable it felt when I put it on.

It's symbolic, not a law. If he doesn't want to wear one, don't force him to.
Though it would be nice to know that before you spend the money.

Maybe a tattoo above the left eye that says "married" would be better. At least it's permanent, unlike most marriages these days.

I find it hilarious that men always "say" they've lost their rings and it is just a fine and acceptable excuse by their wives.

Im also of the belief wedding rings are symbolic.. and to me it matters not to wear one..

my husband never wore his past the wedding day.. maybe a few weeks.. and gone... i dont blame him.. hes not a jewelry person.. and i never wore mine either..

i wear rings.. they have nothing to do with marriage or him.... family rings...

wearing or not wearing has no bearing on commitment.. or the desire to seek others... thats all in ones head......

whats committed is your heart and soul ring or not.. a ring isnt going to stop anything.....

Well, I suppose, to each his/her own.

Rings have stopped me on many occasions. It has stopped my friends as well from getting involved with those who seek to have extra-marital affairs.

I think it will continue to stop those who are responsible and respectful, and since it is sometimes the only way to identify "cheaters", I always expect a married man to be wearing one (especially if his wife does) and if he isn't (based on experience) wearing one and/or refuses to wear one, my first thought is that he is up to no good...and the same goes for women...
