People are needy- I have a colleague who constantly tries to give inside information on others. I haven't spoken with her for a while (see previous sentence ), but in 2 minutes- she outed 2 people about their drug history and exploded into how an upper level manager at another site is going to lose his job abd he went 'bawling' to the CEO. Supposedly the CEO told *her* that this manager was 'bawling like a baby'. Why? Why on so many levels!!!

People are sweet- one of my neighbors invited me to come sit on her patio because the weather is so nice. (I was trying to balance the negative with a positivve, but in reality- I think this neighbor is just lonely . This was the first time I've seen and met her and I think she's been there a long time. I will visit w/ her though in future).

Maybe I always knew it but hadn't thought about it. I think once you get more than one not behaving as normal, you just have to fall back and look. I'm not sure who is crazy, but I don't think it's me lol.

people are....dumb
My supervisor/boss/team lead used the &quot;non-word&quot; irregardless 3 times in a meeting yesterday.

I couldn't meet the eye of any of my team-mates for the rest of the meeting and I am sure she thought I was crazy but I had to maintain my stone face some how.

okay - pause for the story.
one early morning (5:10am) I was walking my dog and a young (20-30) woman of colour walked by going the opposite direction and I know she is heading to the bus stop. As usual I pulled Tango to the side off the sidewalk (he likes to jump) and she said good morning and thank you.
I pass her almost every morning and we go through the same routine.

Then one morning I was going in to work late on purpose so my morning routine was delayed by an hour. I run into the same lady, but this time she has her foot in her hands doing a Usain down the sidewalk heading to the bus stop. Yet I still got a breathless but cheerful good morning thank you.

I assume she is either Jamaican or from Nfld.

next time I see her I am going to ask.

I've got a drayma one! this week in fact, a co-worker told me that she has flashbacks of another upper level supervisor treating her like a dog!! 4 years ago, this UPS 'cornered her and talked to her like she was an animal- she was in tears at this public setting 4 years ago, and (we were at the same office that day) she was feeling the same feelings and it was horrible. HORRIBLE!! Of course I checked with UPS- they had to reassign this co-worker from a process she was familiar with and loved. SHe was reassigned to something wholly new and was extremely resistant. There was no maltreatment, there were instructions on her new job assignment.

Same drama queen told me one of our receptionist is 'very sick. It's really bad DearK, and its been bad for a loooong time!!!&quot;. So of course I'm aghast, worried to the hilt, thinking the worst that her breast cancer is back again at a more aggressive pace. I investigate further- only to find out she's pre-diabetic and was placed on some medication to curb sugar cravings.
