The divorce rate is so ridiculously high that I think (and this has nothing to do with my being Catholic, or I'd say divorce shouldn't be allowed, period) that the law should be changed so that one should be forced to remain married, and have to actually live with, their spouse whom they marry for two full years before a divorce is lawfully permitted. Abuse cases proven in court being the exception...

It's a very sad social commentary when people spend more time picking out a dog at the local pound to adopt than a spouse to get married to!
