of my appreciation of you. Do you think a married person or someone with a SO should accept gifts from members of the opposite sex? If they do accept, should they share/tell the SO?
As long as there is nothing fishy going on between them, then I don't see anything wrong with accepting a gift from someone of the opposite sex. I rarely receive "surprise" gifts except from co-workers or close friends.
If I would not feel comfortable telling my SO about it, then I probably would not accept the gift. I say "probably" because if I liked the gift enough, good old fashioned greed might kick in lol. Also, I have some exes who could really make a mountain out of a molehill.
As long as my hands are clean and I do not think the person has ulterior motives other than maybe blowing a lil sunshine up my butt, then I'm cool with it. Don't care if the SO receives gifts under the same circumstances. Heck, if I like it enough, I might take it from him and claim it as my own.
i dont see nothing wrong with it. i dont have an issue with him giving gift either....long as nothing nah gwane as flowers said.
i mean if mi see smaddy a get perfume and jewelry etc pan a regular mi ago affi have words doe. but for special events or if smaddy ago thru a ting and need likkle cheering up....dat kinda ting is ok.
i would feel better if i knew about the gifts just so i dotn find out and start getting suspicious fi no reason.

a next time me get a BOSE headset from a friend for some likkle small ting me did do fe him, hubby know bout dat to,
but if one ex waan take me to lunch just fe talk and laugh, me naa go tell hubby bout dat

I'd never take it knowing that my spouse might give me hell about it forever...or silently sit on it for years then probably use it as ammunition I'd probably give him hell too.
Come tot think of it ...I do get gifts from my clients...he's never complained...heck, him nyam some a dem tings too

That right there is probably a best practice! if its discussed, and even bettter if he then made it "From The Vegases" so the receiver doesnt get any ideas either
I wasnt really thinking of client related gifts, just someone from the opposite sex who may be gifting with alternative motives
