If so, why do you lie, do you increase or decrease from the right number and by how much?

I tried to convince someone at work that I am a certain age (5 years younger than my true age) and they swear that I am even younger. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70456-eyebrows.gif[/img]

I used to tell people I was older when I was very young (and they believed it) and now that I'm older, I give them my true age (especially men) and they are [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img]! Thank goodness for good genes! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

One of my coworkers told me she was 29 yrs old and I almost fainted. She looks about 40 (in black years). LOL

Twice last week on two separate occasions my son's friends asked (when I went to call him from from up the street) if I was his brother. My son is 12.

I never lie about my age..But, no one believes me anyway..
They think I look younger..One of my co-workers, even had to see my license and still thinks I am lying..

Funny thing is when I was younger, everyone thought I was older than I was.. They equated tall with being older..

No, I don't lie about my age, although I'm starting to kinda want to.
