1. should have manners ... saying hello or good evening before you jump in the conversation is nice even worst if you asking a favour.
2. Saying please and thank you is a simple courtesy it takes nothing off you to do it. It gives the impression that you either using the person or you have nothing about you or both. You asking favour and cyaan even say evening and when it done you not even say thanks before moving to the next favour

next time do not acknowledge them
if you say goodevening/morning
and they do not say goodmorning/evening
ignore the favour asking
also when they butt in
convo without saying
morning/evening talk right over them loudly

People here in Canada (for the most part) don't seem to have been taught manners as children. Most Jamaicans are head and shoulders above them IMHO. At least I find this with people of my generation, and older.

Not sure bout di youth dem.

How do you handle or deal with someone who does not relegate the desirable please and thank you at the closure of a favour?

depends on the situation......

in the work place, I often have people interrupt conversations with things that are more important to them/their part of the job. If I am on the clock I deal with them graciously. If I am on break or lunch I tell them to come back and deal with me when I am on the clock as right now it is my time. as to the please and thank you, if it is part of my job a please and thank you is nice, but not expected as my paycheque is my thank you and my please.

Out side of work I don't know anyone who woulda do dem tings, and if they do I neither see nor hear dem a juss so mi roll.
