Rape Prevention

So my friend told me about a rape prevention course that she recently went on, that was sponsored by her local gym.

My first thought was GREAT! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img] That was until she told me that it was well attended...8 men and 3 women. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/ideathink.gif[/img]

My second thought was, what is the point? [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif[/img] She went APE because I said that.

Is it me or do you see something wrong with that picture?

Also seem to recall suggestions of vomiting or peeing on them...but that too depends on the weapon involved. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70384-praying.gif[/img] thank god I have never experienced it myself and [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70384-praying.gif[/img] I never will. Since I have no idea what I would do. I know what I would like to do but.......

you know Anyat, just this week i bought a can of mace. they sell it here as dog repellent [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70365-flirt.gif[/img] the instructions went something like: "spray directly into the dog's eyes, it will then start to cough". &lt;-- [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

anyway, i bought it just in case some deranged person jumped out at me when i'm walking in those iffy neighbourhoods or so. then it occurred to me that i'd have to release the locking mechanism and aim it in their face and and all that stuff.

then i just thought i'd probably end up macing myself [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif[/img]

unno remember the rape whistle and the rape siren? I used to have one when I worked graveyard shift.....had to walk through a shady area from the bus to work...always wondered if it would have been effective.

After a few months I was on a first name basis with all the hookers/druggies/pan handlers in that area so never felt scared or worried...a little respect goes along way

Ain't that the truth. I always felt safe walking in my own dodgy neighborhood because I knew all the "bad guys" and they liked me fine [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]
