or leave it alone?
bout a month ago my manager informed me that she'd received approval for a new position on our team..something we trying for the first time. I recommended someone I thought would be perfectn (Sally). My manager confirmed who I was referring to, and said (in a kinda softly, horrified voice) "she's too loud". I was surprised..however, I don't know this young lady all that well so I could not agree or disagree with her assessment. (She's in another state and I met her once years ago at a company social function, however on her team she's my "go to" person cause she's very effective.) My boss agreed with me about her positive traits, but said they'd attended a class together and her behaviour just put her off.
anyways...last week my phone rings and guess who? Sally..saying she'd heard about the position and would I recommend her to my manager./o\ Apparently she spoke to my manager and she (my manager) told her to get references from members of my team .
I told her I would. My manager did not mention that I had already recommended her,so I didn't say anything about the conversation.
now what do I do??? I already said everything i had to say about her to my manager, should I have another conversation with her>
lol..just writing this out has helped me decide..but curious to hear what oonu tink.
