Early Saturday morning my neighbor who is a drama queen (28 yr old) came to knocking and banging on my door as if she was the head of the Jehovah's Witness. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]
When I finally figured out what the banging was and opened the door, she aggressively shoved a camera in my hand and asked me to quickly take some head and body shots of her visible bruises...which I did, mainly out of shock. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img]
She said her boyfriend tied her up and beat her (she has two children (not his) who were spending the weekend with her mom) and she has escaped and wanted witnesses and evidence before going to the police.
I was in shock so couldn't even collect my thoughts to ask any questions before she ran off, jumped in her car and drove away. I haven't seen her since.
Yesterday afternoon, I saw her BF outside, shoveling snow. I look at him with curiosity. When he started to approach me, I held my shovel in the position to wack him, should he lose his mind on me.
He said hello and in the calmest voice possible, ask if I'd seen Sophie. I said uhh, uhh! nervously shaking my head, possible a bit too much when he looked me straight in the eyes and said "I think she's ran off with another guy. I came home this morning to see a note and the car and kids gone". His eyes look like he'd been crying and he was still wearing his uniform...He said he had been at the Marine reserve training since Thursday. He then turned and slowly walked away. I was like [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img] What Tha?
What do you guys make of this? I am praying not to get involved in this mess.
