<span style='font-size: 11pt'>it depends on the two people. May I tell you about a friend of mine in Jamaica and his wife???

They have a nice home in the Negril area....she works the majority of the months in the US in Florida for the betterment of the family. They have been married 23 years. Her husband drives taxi in the area...keeps the house, raised the kids for the most part, goes home in the evening, sees to the operation of the house.
The kids are loving, mature, get their lessons, and are doing well, two I believe are now adults, and the other two are in the upper grades. This works for this family... and the father was honored by his church as "Father of the Year" on father's day. When his wife comes home...he does not drive people around much, he spends all of his time with her, and may I say, that you can tell that she is home by the smile on his face, and his whole demeanor changes (he's pleasant anyway, but he gets more Pleasant) .

So yeah, it can work...does for these two. CAUSE they have a mutual game plan for their future. WHich is the big question in the LDR...where yall going and what yall doing???? </span>

Why bother to devote yourself to someone you hardly ever see. There are exceptions I guess but they hardly ever work out.

I was tempted to develop a LDR at one time but I knew the relationship would be too difficult to sustain.

Besides, while you are in a LDR you could very well be passing up something really great that is right in front of your nose.

ya see it, de wife works in farrin and brings back de dolla's. dis is nothing new. me bet de driver get some as me neva meet one taxi man yet dat is faithful. it may work fe dem, good fe dem. but me bet it is not a faithful relationship.

me did ina one relationship long ago where me live a u and smaddy live in ja. me did tink everyting was cris. me come to find out sey de man did a juggle me, 3 odda farrin woman and 3 baby modda a yard. me did tink me no better as me grow dere and no man could fool me. wrong! dis man was smooth me a tell you smooth. me work fram 10am to 1am 6 days per week fe travel money. me call im and talk every sunday[before cellies] at a friends house as him have no phone. big $'s. me a go down a yard and find cards pictures and umm mometos fram odda woman. smaddy always sey im sisters tings. cellies came and me phone bill reach 1,000. fe de month! me stop buy tings fe me house and put it all inna im yard, clothes, shoes, bed, dresser, love is blind.
me did close wit im fambly and his modda. all seem fine til one day wen me arrive a yawd a new bed did in de room.
