Just got off the phone w/ my ex-boyfriend, and he was asking me when I will get married and have a family. He said everyone must have a family, and I could still have others on the side it I wanted some fun. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif[/img] What is up w/ this mentality? I think too many people think this way, and that is why I am not married w/ kids. I want to have fun and be w/ one man, don't need others on the side. Ex says everybody is cheating these days so that's just how people stay. Truly sad.

No, don't think that's what he was trying to get. Gave him the love for 5 years, and that ship has sailed. There was a time when I thought he was "the one", but now we are strictly friends.Comment

I agree, these days some men think a woman will go for anything, or some women think men will go for anything, it narrows down to you what you want out of a relationship, so it's good you stood your ground, and not lower your standards!!Comment

That's why we broke up. The man thought he could keep me as his house woman, then go on the street til all hours of the night doing things he shouldn't. It hurt me enough, no way would I bring kids into that situation wondering where daddy was and when he's coming home. So he went back to his lesbian ex-girlfriend, and now has two kids.
