I met a man at Schipol (Amsterdam) Airport, who was on his way from Jamaica to Geneva and I was on my way to Sweden. We were both delayed for over 6 hours. From 10pm...

We ate, chatted and then watched the sun rise in The Netherlands...

Long story short, we both broke off our previous relationships and spent the next 9 years...together.

He is my son's dad!

Moral of the story is...you never know.

I would have no problem having a meal with a stranger at an airport. Many times in my travels it was a way to spend the time while waiting for you flight. I frequently meet interesting people that way.

Just a meal and some company....that's all.
