Who said college education was a solution? It's just stating a stat. If you're ok with breaking the divorce rate down by gender and race then why not further by education and income?

You seem pretty vested in making black women the source of the problem. Money problems are the #1 cause of divorce for all races.

Somehow I think that couples who reportedly divorce over &quot;money problems&quot; would very often have divorced in the long run regardless. Certainly the ones I am familiar with anyway.

As a comparison, my parents', their friends and acquaintances, and those from that generation (from our section of society in Jamaica) mostly had next to nothing when they married. And divorce was rare among them.

Divorcing over money today is sometimes more about one's values and priorities and how we were socialized as children than about a bank balance.

When a marriage is on the rocks, most of the time, in my limited experience, the rocks are in the bed.....in some fashion.
