Ann has a sister who left Jamaica and came to the United States some 27 years ago. Ann's sister, we shall call her Amy, was alwasy free spirited and almost never followed rules. She's extremely beautiful and very outgoing. She left for New York in 74 and never looked back. She partied she drank she modeled and lived high.
Ann came to the US some years later and Amy wasn't nice to her considering Ann wasn't in the country legally. Ann went through verbal abuse from her sister and she eventually left and had a babysitting job which paid next to nothing. She lived in and spent many weekends with friends.
Ann learned upon her arival that the three years when Amy was "missing" she was acutally in prison.
Anyway, Ann, eventually landed her residency here in the US and is doing very well, nice house, big luxury car and enjoying life but very smart with her money.
Amy lost her job recently and went to look for another job, the agency asked Amy for identification and she presented them with her greencard which was expired. NO problem she said she can get a replacement. Problem................ in 1996 Clinton signed a law which states that if you commit a crime you are eligible for deportation. Amy went to see lawyers and they told her NOT to apply for a greencard because she will be deported (they do fingerprints for renewals now).
So now she's facing eviction adn wants to come live with Ann who is refusing based on the fact that the prospects of her getting a job doens't look good plus Amy is very evil.
Long and short. This weeknd Amy called Ann and told her to come over, when Ann arrived she saw Amy's clothes all packed up and Amy told her that she is to ship her clothes incase she gets deported to Jamaica. Of course Ann is like, where in Jamaica, you have no foundation there and the house is being sold (Ann bought the house some years before her parents died and she needs the money to finance a project here in the US so she sold it.
Amy is upset because it is a family house. Ann pointed out that no, it is her house and she allowed the family to stay there and also pointed out that all teh repairs, additions and even teh funerals were all paid for by her so ti is unfair for Amy to think that she is entitled to any part of the house.
Amy said "but I put you up" Ann said "no correction, you stressed me out and cursed me the very next day I got here and I left"
If you were in Ann's position, would you harbor this woman in your house knwoing she will never be able to get a job and give the house to her to live in in Jamaica even though all other siblings have left or is in the process of leaving the property.
Amy has been back to Jamaica 3 time sn 27 years and has NEVER contributed anything back home but now that her beauty has faded, her foolish spending and her drug charge which happened in 1982 caught up with her?
What would you do if you were Ann
