Anyhoo, long long time ago, mi son tell mi say mi wear to much make-up Funny ting was, all mi eva wear back den was concealer an eyebrow pencil (I had stuff that needed concealing and not much eyebrow )

Sake a whe im say doah, mi change de lighting eena de bawtroom an get fi si say de concealer was definitely de wrong shade fi mi So for years, it look like say mi whenna walk roun tinking say mi a say one, when I was actually saying naught

In any event, if is a friend, mi wi tell dem say dem wear to much makeup. It's all in the delivery.

start building a list like Tropi

bring her to a mac counter or other make up counter in the bay, sear, sephora etc and have an artist teach her how to apply makeup.

you have some woman who thing more is better and heavy makeup is just their style. instead of using it to enhance some woman a try create and it no work so at all. it can bun mi fi tru fi see the rosy cheeks.

red lipstick is not always a no no. u just have to knwo wat u wearing and how to do ur eye make up fi it no look like u a circus clown

This is what I was coming to say. Most of the time, it really isn't too much makeup just bad application and also the wrong shades like Nunya said.

DahJah, your question was how do you broach the topic. Unless she's in her teens, you cannot flat out speak on it without backlash. The easiest thing to do is compliment her beautiful, smooth complexion when it's freshly washed with no products or use Vegas' suggestion.

You think you like little make-up but really you just like a natural look. Creating a natural look can take a whole lot more time and attention than you think. For the most part, good job or bad, it's all just an illusion.
