Many women who are raped do not report it and are living with the nightmare alone. Check

Are there women who have willingly had sexual intercourse with men and for whatever reason, then report that they have been raped?

Are there men in jail today who have been wrongly accused of rape (sticking to the subject) while the woman walks around free?

Ohh. I might have interpreted what Blugiant wrote differently then.

I also think that because many women have realized that "crying rape" pulls at the emotional heartstrings of both conscious thinking men and women, they tend to use "rape" as a weapon to accuse people they don't like, protect themselves from whatever and get revenge.

Just like some women DO walk around convinced that they are pregnant when THEY ARE NOT, I suppose is the point he is trying to make...but I could be wrong. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/throwstone.gif[/img]

Yes. She has convinced herself...and others.

I KNOW someone who successfully did that (not lie) and then said that based on what "she felt at the time" she BELIEVE that was what it was...after family, friends and community turned against the accused. There are people who are able to convince themselves of whatever they "believe" can be used as a good excuse:

I was incoherent that is why...

I was drunk that is why...

I was tired that is why...

I was angry that is why...

The list goes on and on and on...when they have satisfactorily convinced themselves then they work on convincing others.
