i was reading the viewer comments on both this show and sister wives show and they're markedly different. both sets of women seem to be a subset of the same culture - just different races. but the "sister wives" weren't commented on a bitterly as this one.

interesting question CB, it look from what i see that he sees all of them at the same time but is in a *relationship* with only one. seeing as him can't even remember his kids' names ...
Edit Post to add:
"Oxygen is an American cable television specialty channel owned by NBCUniversal. ... talk show host Oprah Winfrey and producers Marcy Carsey, Tom Werner and ... The company's cable network Oxygen launched on February 2, 2000."
for some reason or another

well right off the top of my head...the sister wives situation is different in that Cody the sisterhusband considers himself to be in a committed relationship with all three ? four? women
baby mama drama is kept to a minimum...and he appears to passively participate
in raising the kids. ie: the mothers do most of the heavy lifting but Cody) is involved with the kids on a day to day basis.

it looks like he sexually rewards all of them
“As dysfunctional and violent as so-called reality shows are, could you ever imagine a one hour spectacle where 11 children are forced to witness their 10 unwed mothers clamor for financial support, emotional attention and sexual reward from Shawty-Lo, the apathetic ‘father,’” Lamb expressed on Change.org.
“Could you imagine that Oxygen Media, known for violent programming targeting young women with stereotypical images, would consider the embarrassment that these children will experience, being used as entertainment?”
While it’s too early to determine whether or not Shawty Lo and all his “Babies’ Mamas” will get the axe from Oxygen’s programming schedule, the number of petitioners are steadily increasing.
