Whats a good time period before proclamations of love are expressed. A friend of mine has been dating a man for a week, yes one week of 7 days and he has said he is falling in love with her [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif[/img]

I've told her to be careful of the intensity [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif[/img]

They say it's possible to fall in love at first sight. So perhaps it's possible to be in love after a week. However, IMO, I think he really likes your friend and he's confusing the emotions.

Well I don;t know that they've had enough time for her to even figure out if 'he's the kind to...' on any subject..

Aside from the fact that she said she hasnt given off any 'love vibes', and she's just out of a long term relationship, this guy seems off the mark. My friend and I went to dinner for about 2 hours, and he called about 5 times in that time span!

But aside from this budding psychodrama, what do you all figure is a good amount of time to KNOW?

There are those who believe they're being sincere (I knew one such, who loved the high of new 'love') and they're those who say it just to get to third base.

That sounds like obsession to me. Some serial lovers have perfected the art of disguising their obsessive side, so much so they can easily make a believer out of the faint at heart. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif[/img]
