What if someone meets your requirements on paper but he doesn't turn your crank?

So, finally someone who meets all your requirements on paper is showing an interest but he doesn't appeal to you. He is too bulky...not fat just big and bulky, you would not care to re-locate to where he is (it's not on your list of desirable locations). He seems ok....in other words there is nothing really wrong with him but he seems boring, not youthful enough.

What do you do, do you re-think your list, go along with it because nothing better is no the horizon?

This is a situation a friend of mine is facing and I have advised her to wait until someone who appeals to her more comes along. Thought it would be fun to discuss it.

If the 'relationship' leads to marriage, he will expect sex. If she isn't into it/him, he will either divorce her or since she looks good on paper, stay in the marriage for financial purposes and take a lover.

Since you asked, here are a few things I would do:

1. Throw away that list.
2. Learn to trust my instinct.
3. Pursue meaningful interests or hobbies other than meeting Mr. Right.
