Question for the Females Out There

I use to give the odd compliment to the women at work. ie. tell them how nice their new hairstyle made them look or ask them if they had lost weight etc... . Maybe a little flirting perhaps but nothing serious.

Over the years I have found myself doing less and less of that as I am afraid it may be interpreted as sexual harassment in the workplace.

To the women I ask...Do women like to be complimented by men at work or is it a little creepy? Maybe it depends on which man it is?

depends on who is doing the complimenting, I compliment some males also. The operative word here is some

What I realize is it's all about looks.
There was something on t.v. some time back where the put some Average joes and janes out on the street to call out compliments to the opposite sex and they were ignored or scoffed at. Where when they put the models out there and had them say the same thing the compliments were either returned, they were approached, or they said "thank you" so it has a lot to do with looks and whatever may turn another on.
