i've noticed that some of the hispanic women i've worked with over the years break their necks trying to snag a white guy...maybe it was just isolated cases that i just happened to be around, but i have seen it quite a bit;

like a case of 'marry white guy or bust'

the 'traditional' hispanic:
european, indian & african mixed together...

but not black hispanic...
yu done know seh white hispancic nah look black man unless is true love...
they are a very color-coded society; just watch their tv & u will see

One day wi go out fi lunch an buck up dis Dominican dark skin bredda up here fi training camp or farm team or some such fi baseball. Bredda noh speak a word of english but him come check mi fren. When him fine out shi speaky di spanish him was even more in love wid har. Mi seh di bredda beg di gyal till mi woulda did shame fi him if mi spanish did bettah.
