He is ecstatic, thrilled to pieces and talks about all the fun dinners and cruises they've been on, among other local activities. You visit him for a quick weekend and on the way to meet his new love, his glove box falls open and there are condoms and viagra. if he has substantial assets, (and in these economic times I mean his 401K, pension, ss benefits etc which should help him ride out the next 30 years in a nice 55+ condo in west palm beach), then the daughter should make sure he is not blowing it on Ms. Young Thing.

By the way, daughter should probably have already been a joint acct holder for the father in case of emergency, healty proxy etc, so she should know what is going on financially.

other than the above, daughter should just keep a side eye on Ms Young Thing and let father have his fun.

Thats the question. He's still got his license He's making some very spontaneous decisions and courting his lady, but.... What would you do if that were your dad?

Have him see his financial advisor to plan for his eldercare & lock it into assets where ms Young Thing can't touch to cover his eldercare when he needs assisted living and she has gone on to the next older guy.

Then I would sneakily hire a PI to follow ms young thing and trace the younger pool boy she really a kick it wid
