What would you do to help a person with this problem?

Seriously (because generally I am not)

Anything can be an addiction, food, sex, likka, drugs, video games, smokes, excercising, plastic surgery...you name it.

It's just that some things are chemically addicting (like crack/heroin) and others (like food, sex, etc) In my opinion, are simply a lack of self control and will power.

this generation (born in the 60's and after) are so into instant gratification and excuses. it's is no wonder there are so many addicts.

Lately it seems every time I hear of someone doing something horrible they have an excuse, I'm an addict, it was steroids, I was abused as a child, My mommy never loved me, post partum

Where were all thoses excuses in the 30's?
