His boss works here, hence the revelation. She also had to read his emails (from the company laptop) and provide information to the police, which has uncovered some of the mystery.

Very sad... I didnt think she would be able to go through his emails, but that they'd be released to the police. I'm not sure that as a supervisor, I'd relay all this information to other employees [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img] Seems to not only be a real invasion of privacy, but that notwithstanding, seems to info taht only the family should be privy to...

Apparently, his letter requested that she go through his email. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

She did not share the full content of his letter...just the sections he specifically asked that she share.

The letter to his parents was not shared with anyone, from what I was told.

The letter to both have been since turned over to the investigative authorities.

He is being flown back to his country of birth for burial and his parents have asked that no memorial service be held. This is very hard for everyone here, because we can't go against their wishes, yet we (his friends and employees) desperately need some sort of closure...especially his direct reports.

It is a little bit worrying that it never occurred to him to get tested and that he saw being HIV positive or having AIDS as an inevitable 'death sentence'. That a grown [censored] man who chose to have unprotected sex should respond in this way shows a shocking lack of maturity and willful ignorance. She can't be held responsible for that. She is a lying toerag and it is a shame he didn't know that. </div></div>
