I noticed that none of the women mentioned "men" who still live with their mother. Every woman I have ever heard talk about this tell mi that any man over 30 who live with mama not worth the time of day.

but if he is coming home to sit on the couch and watch TV consuming 5 beers a night and gets up and does it all ovah again the next day then sitten wrong yes.

Well that's sort of the reverse of what I was thinking of, a man's mother living "with him", as in him taking care of her and not vice versa, if you know what my mean.

How can there be chemistry as you say, if there are things that turn you off? Also, if you are turned off by these things what happens to the chemistry?

If I have chemistry with someone and we are growing in love, then the things that I might not like will have to be addressed and resolved from early in the relationship, or I will not get involved no matter how much I like him.

Because while chemistry tends to be more immediate ("we hit it off right away" !), it can take time to know certain other things about people. You know, the whole "si mi an come live wid mi" bizniz.

I hear you, but I don't agree. I feel that while getting to know someone, you should spend that time getting to know their ugly habits as well. I can respect that nothing can be as scripted as we might like and there may always be something that you find out down the road is a real turn off. I figure talking to the person about how you feel is the best place to begin.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that I'd write a man off if he lives with parents or parents live with him.

Family relationships can teach you a lot about a person and their family values. I believe that having strong family ties is a good thing, especially if there is a good structure going on...i.e. he cooks, washes, and otherwise helps out around the house. I'm a bit bias because I've dated men who live at home (temporarily...in between moves) and they have taught me a lot about my own family relationships.
