i started thinking about this looking at everyone's post to BoundBrook yesterday . . .

i told her to go for it - don't set yourself up to sit on your porch in your senior years saying coulda, shoulda

most of us have been "programmed" to think that getting married and having children is our direction - i fell into that trap 3 times and i have an adopted son (i always knew i would adopt) that i love dearly and is a carbon copy of me

some of you know that last year - i packed just our clothes in the car and MOVED - put a contract on a new house within 5 days of getting here and my place in atlanta was not sold - it was not even finished being redone after the fire

within 30 days - my house in Atlanta sold
i bought the house in Jacksonville
bought a mattress on the floor for my bedroom
got a job

and took a big sigh of relief

and i feel so good 'cause i didn't let anything make me feel STUCK

am i living my dream - not yet
getting closer tho'

the next move - i will sell everything
move to Africa (or Jamaica)
and do volunteer work until i die

Thanks for posting this Seveen. My lecturer asked us something similar 4 weeks ago (what is your vision) and after really looking into myself and where i am at i would say i am passing time...but being aware of this also made me realise that BIG changes are needed and what i do today determines tomorrow. So i have to work towards that dream now, change up quite a few stuff or i will never get there or gain that sense of happiness which i lack.
