I was thinking about my life on the drive to the house this evening. I thought about where I was just several months ago and where I am today. While I'm not yet living my dream, I am (actually God is) moving me rapidly towards it. I honestly can't say that I'm just passing time because it's been an incredible ride. At times I want to pinch myself and say wake up but I'm so scared that it's a dream and I don't want to wake up from this dream.

I had lofty goals once. Kind of had the rug pulled out from under me though a few years back and have never fully recovered.

Now, I'm just passing time like some of you out there. Seems like the older I get the harder it is to get motivated to set new goals.

For instance, my goal for tomorrow is to finally mix myself the perfect margarita.

thanks sis, i think. that hurts but in kind of a good way.

haf to say i'm supremely unsatisfied with the status quo. up til rcently i did live to the fullest, now i kinda got stuck in somehting i can't seem to get out of, mostly for all the bad reasons that i could turn my back on in a nymf minute. then again there's those one or two Very Big Things i'm not sure i'm willing to give up. ack. it's a dyam heartical balancing act

One step forward to living my dreams was to face my fears, embrace that which I feared and look my enemy in the eye rather then turn from them. It freed me up and didn't pull me off the path from what I want, rather it allowed me to step closer.
Being true to yourself and honest to those you meet comes with a price. Most people prefer to hear what they want you to say rather then hear the truth..... a so it goes
