Your father is tall, handsome, kind, intelligent, successful and single. He is interested in your friend.

Amy is the same age (30) as you.

He is 49 yrs old, has been divorced for over 6 years and have not met anyone new, since mom cheated on him with an older man.

i know of a case just like this..

they got married and are very happy with 2 kids of their own.

Amy said she matured and got over it once she saw that their love for each other was genuine

I don't have a problem with the age thing and I wouldn't have a problem if I'd met her as an adult and we became friends.

But if she was my friend from childhood - I'd be always at the back of mind as to how long he's had those feelings...

Then I'd prolly distance myself caw mi ooda feel a way...

As children, Amy did not spend that much time in the neighborhood - summers away and very busy with extra-curricular activities, so did not see much of the friend's father.

For the last 2 years however, she has grown much closer to the extended family...hence, Dad. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70456-eyebrows.gif[/img]
