dads. I've been meeting a few of these men/couples lately. The wives are highly paid professionals, and the men either are not working now due to economy, or havent been working for some time consciously. 2 white families, 1 Hispanic and 1 mixed race family.
All of them presented like this was no big stress on their marriage- well except for the last family- the hubby is from an island (I couldnt place his accent) and he seemed a little embarrassed to report that he isnt working.... but maybe I'm projecting. They have no children and I was so tempted to ask how he passes the day- but based on by the way discussions, it seems he cooks a mean dinner and their home is spotless.
The Hispanic family I met in January or so through other friends and they have a daughter- so he's enjoying taking her to school and supposedly he does odd jobs here and there; wife also has some health issues, so he's able to support her. One of hte white families has kids and one doesnt- and they all seem so content.
But with this coming to my attention lately, I've been wondering- Do male pride and the gene to bring home the bacon not exist anymore?
