At one of my practice locations I rent office space to a massage therapist, and an audiologist. Yesterday the LMT calls and tells me that she caught the hearing aid guy having sex in one of my treatment rooms. They were on my table, using my towels.... during regular business hours. Obviously I cannot have this person in my office b/c he disrespected my things, and I can't have him spreading his DNA around in a health care environment. Besides, my LMT is uncomfortable, and she wants all of her stuff locked up so he can't taint it too.
Here is my dilemma. Another guy can work and do the hearing aid checks for the remainder of their lease, but do you think I should call the owner of the company and let him know what happened? The guy who got caught will have to explain to his boss why he is no longer welcome at my office, but I doubt he will tell the truth, and I think his boss has a right to know.
