Vanessa walked off the elevator and stood to the side waiting for Robert to stagger off. He was so drunk he didn't notice that she wasn't. He was rushing to get her into the room.
"Oh baby I can't wait to touch that body." He said pulling her close to his body, she felt how excited he was.
"Then let's get to it then." Vanessa said whispering in his ear. Robert wrestled with his wallet for the room key. He finally found it and with great concentration. While he did that Vanessa dug the tiny pill out of her purse and put it in her bra. Ricky bought it off some dread on the beach. Ricky said he was told it would knock a girl out in no time, Vanessa hoped it worked the same way for this dude. They walked into his cozy room where the bed was made and soft jazz played on the radio. Robert fell back onto the bed and beckoned Vanessa to come close. Vanessa sat down next to him and in one swift move straddled him.
"Wow girl, easy, take time with me please." Robert said rubbing her legs.
"It's just the thought of how smart you are to blackmail Kaila that way. I mean who would of thought to keep that info? Smart men turn me on Robert." Vanessa said leaning towards his face until they were inches apart.
"Hmmm I know. You're here with me." He stretched his neck to kiss her and Vanessa pulled back.
"Let's take our time, baby. You know all she could worry about is that you have extra copies and your gonna come back after you run out."
"Actually I haven't thought about that, but that's a great idea. I'll be sure to make copies tomorrow, but right now I want to get down with you." He kissed her, long and wet as usual.
"Hey I have an idea, let's watch those tapes you got and get down and dirty. You know like having sex on money."
"I don't know baby. You sure it won't upset you?"
"Upset me, please Robert. Are you here with Kaila or me. I know what I can do for you and she can't. Get the tapes and I'll get the drinks."
Vanessa slipped off him slowly making sure he can feel her grind on him as she got up. He didn't argue. He took the hotel key and slipped it into the safe in the hotel closet. Vanessa eyed the envelope as he moved it aside and took out the tape. "Wow this is going to be interesting." Robert said. He stood up straight as he tried to balance himself Vanessa placed the pill in his drink. She walked towards him watching it dissolve as he figured out how to work the DVD/VCR player.
"I'll get that for you baby just lay back and relax." Vanessa took the tape and handed him the drink. She looked up at the time. She had 15 minutes. Robert sat on the bed and drank the glass in one gulp. He then sat up and pulled Vanessa from behind and sat her in his lap. He wrapped his arms around her waist and moved moved his hands over her breasts where he squeezed. Vanessa moaned, pretending. Trying not to watch what was happening on the tape. It was Obviously Kaila in all her glory. Vanessa got up turned around and faced Robert she straddled him on the bed and started to unbutton her blouse one by one. Robert laid back to get full view. Vanessa felt him throbbing beneath her in anticipation. She leaned forward.
"I need you to relax." she whispered, I she tried to block out the moans coming from the t.v.
"Oh, I am relax. Can't get anymore relax than this." Vanessa hated that she had to touch him, kiss him. Talk him real sweet when she really wanted to slit his throat.
'In the morning i'm asking for a raise.' She thought. "Come on Baby take a deep breath. Keep doing that until I get to your belt." Vanessa prayed that the pill kicked in soon. It's not suppose to take this long she thought. She ripped open his shirt and began kissing his chest thinking of the percentage she should ask for. Robert continued to take deep breaths. His breath caught when she kissed his nipples and continued down to his navel. She stopped to pull his belt buckle. Getting nervous. She decided to try anything at this point. "Robert hold your breath until I kiss you. Then release. It's a little trick a friend taught me." Robert obeyed, He was holding his breath going on to thirty seconds, when Vanessa heard him release. She peeked up from below to notice he was knocked out asleep.
She jumped to her feet and grabbed the tape out of the VCR and scurried over to the safe and pulled out the list. She grabbed her purse and headed for the door. As she touched the door knob, Robert yelled out from behind, "Hey!!" Vanessa froze her heart pounding in her chest. She turned around slowly just to see Robert roll over in bed. He began to pee on himself She sighed in relief and rushed out the door. Her treasure in hand.
When she got to her car she sat in the back. Kaila looking relieved turn to her. "Are you okay? He didn't try to hurt you did he?" She asked anxiously.
"No he didn't hurt me, but in the morning I think we should be ready for the wrath of Robert. We didn't plan past this part. We still do have a problem."
"I know, I know." said Ricky. "I'm thinking on it."
The ride home was extremely quiet. Not knowing what was next made them nervous.

A week past and they yet to have heard from Robert. Vanessa was nervous and didn't understand how calm Kaila and Ricky were at Robert's silence.
Kaila and Ricky were so caught up in their time together. The days seemed to run into each other. Not really thinking about Robert, but fighting the daggers that were poking at their hearts. Kaila laid on Rickys body as they watched t.v. from the couch. Vanessa sat at the window looking outside every few moments. "Why do you keep looking out that window?!" Ricky said annoyed at her nervousness.
"Aren't you a little bit curious with what Robert's up to?"
"No, actually I think he went home with his tail between his legs." Kaila cut in. Vanessa relax a bit, for now. She knew Robert was up to something, she could feel it.

Later that night Ricky and Kaila laid on her bedroom floor looking through photobooks. Kaila hadn't touch them since she left the states. The drive down memory lane, brought on good feelings for her. She was to return to work next week and she was happy she took the time off. She couldn't help, but feel a little melancholy knowing Robert would be leaving her at the end of the week. She held in her feelings trying not to bring down the moment. Little did she know that Robert felt the same way. They made love that night holding on to eachother as if they let go the other would slip away.
They weekend was fast approaching and Kaila faked being happy for the week.
The night before Ricky left he stood in the guest room trying to pack his clothes into his duffel bag. Kaila stood watching from the door. "Isn't it funny when you pack to go on your trip everything fits, but when you go pack to go home it's like you have more stuff."
"Why didn't you bring anything back for your collegues?"
"Oh I figure at the airport i'll pick up some liqour for them. They love stuff like that."
"I see." The silence came in like water rushing onto the shore.
"So you gonna keep in contact or should I believe this is it?" Ricky asked after he finally got the bag to close.
"I don't know. I don't want us to fool ourselves. I don't want us to get our hearts broken." They both knew it was too late for that.
"Okay, I see. Are you going to come along to the airport or will Vanessa be flying solo with that plan?"
"It's probably for the best." Kaila said. She saw the disappoint in his face. "But we can stay up all night, and talk walk on the beach and if we get sleepy we sleep in eachother's arms, if you want?" Kaila said as she walke up to him and put her arms around him.
"Yeah we can do that." They did just that. Had wine on the beach, played and laughed. They made passionate love and fell asleep wrapped tightly in eachothers arms.
Kaila stirred as the loud snapping from her curtains awakened her. The cool caribbean morning wind was swooping throughout her room from off her balcony. Her eyes popped open and watched her sheer curtains dance. She rolled over and the pillow next to her was empty. He was gone and she may never be with him again. A tear rolled out of her eyes as she got out of her bed and made her way to the bathroom.
She felt real low. She looked up from where she sat on the toilet and noticed that someone scribbled across her mirror. She got up to read the message. 'I wanted to tell you this, but things in writing are more concrete.
I love you Kaila I do. Believe it or not I believe this will work out. Everything comes out in the wash. Love Ricky
Her heart melted with every word on scribbled on that mirror. She looked down into the sink to see her lip liner laying in the sink.
"Oh no he didn't! They discontinued that shade! Man!" She walked out with a pout on her face, but a smile on her heart.

Days later and after a phone call with Ricky Kaila sauntered back into her office. She gave Vanessa the day off to get some R&R after her hectic month. She also gave her the corporate card to go shopping as payback for that horrible night she had with Robert. She sat at her desk then minutes later she heard her receptionist arguing coming down the hallway.
Robert busted through the door. "Just the B**** I wanted to see. You have something that belongs to me?!"

"It's okay sweetheart i'll deal with him." Kaila told her receptionist, who appeared very shakened up. When the door came to a close. Robert charged towards Kaila and Kaila darted over to her cherry oak bookcase keeping her back up against it.
"If you know what's best for you Robert you'll leave!" Kaila shouted at him with hint of threat in her voice. She was very unsure of what she was going to do if Robert decided to stay and cause some damage.
"I can't believe you guys would sink so low, instead of just paying me what is owed to me."
"Sink low? Sink low? You're here preaching to me about sinking low, when you came to me with confidential things from our past, our past to ruin me? You listen to me Robert and you listen good if you don't get the hell out of my office and off of this island my morals won't be the only thing sinking fast."
"Empty threats." Robert scoffed. "Listen I don't know if you realize who your messin' Kaila, but keep this in consideration. Time apart people change. They can get cold. The last thing you want to do is to mess with me Kaila, so it's either you give me the money or deal with consequences. I'm giving you now to make that choice." Robert stared at Kaila with such an intensity it sent chills down her spine.
"I thought I told you to get the hell out of my office!" Kaila yelled finally taking a step forward.
"Fine, your choice." Robert turned on his heels and left the office. Kaila stepped back into the bookcase and sank to the floor. Her hands was shaking from the suspense of Robert's threats.
She finally pulled herself together and got to her feet and continued with the work day as if nothing happened. Robert's threatened her before and she wasn't about to start believing him, she convinced herself.

Later on that night Kaila came home, for the first time feeling exhausted. 'That vacation took away my robot side.' She thought while she drew her bath. Usually she could keep going without feeling the effects, but now, she felt like a real person. She soaked in the bathtub, thinking of where Ricky and her conversation would go that night she was feeling a bit, frisky.
She picked up the glass of wine that sat next to her on the tub. She sipped as she fanatised about her and Ricky's last night together and what may happen on his return. Her phone rang and jolted her out of her sleep. "Hey what is it i'm hearing, Robert came by the office today?" It was Vanessa.
"Yeah with his empty threats as usual, I just told to get his butt out my office."
"I told you Kaila he wasn't gonna back off so easy." Vanessa sounded nervous.
"Calm down, Calm down. He's not gonna do a thing, okay." Kaila said trying to reassure her.
"Well Brian and I were planning on coming by there tonight, is it okay?" Brain was her new beau.
"Yeah sure I can use the company."
"We'll be there in about two hours." Vanessa said, then the line went dead.
"Wow noone says goodbye anymore." Kaila muttered to herself. She climbed out of the tub and dryed off and walked into her bedroom. Suddenly someone grabbed her by her hair from behind and slammed her into the wall. Kaila slid to the floor. She looked up to see who her attacker was and she saw that it was Robert. She screamed and tryed to crawl away, but Robert was already on top of her, throwing blows to her head. Kaila screamed in pain as she rolled over to kick him off. Then realizing she was naked try to pull the bed sheets off the bed. "No baby we won't be needing those." Robert said, he kicked her in her stomach and Kaila doubled over in pain. "I kept trying to be civil about this, but you had to have control over everything. Well here's something you could never control." Robert said pulling out his manliness. He laid over Kaila and slammed into her as if she was nothing.
Kaila screamed out in rage and pain. She opened her eyes to watch Robert pumping away at her and the look in his eyes were maddening. 'This isn't Robert,' she thought 'this is a mad man.' Robert didn't even seem like he was alert. Kaila fought with all she had and finally gave up giving all power to Robert. She blacked in and out of her assault. Robert slid off of her and pulled out a pocket knife. He trashed her house searching for the papers. The whole time Kaila layed there in pain from the beating she just took. Robert returned to the room and Kaila tried to sit up and escape him, but her body wouldn't let her. Robert looked dishevled, and wild in his current state. "Fine I can't have the papers or the money, then none of us can!" He grabbed her by her hair and with a swift movement he stabbed her in the side. Kaila screamed out in pain and watched as Robert's feet disappeared out her door. Kaila saw the room darkening and felt blood leaking along side her body down her leg.
"Freeze!!" Kaila heard coming from downstairs. "I said drop the weapon! Drop the weapon!" Gunshots rang throughout the house. It was getting darker as Kaila fought to keep her eyes open. She heard footsteps rushing up the stairs. Vanessa busted through the door.
"Oh my God! Brian get up here pleeeaaaze." Vanessa sobbed holding Kaila's head in her lap. Brain rushed into the room with gun in hand. "Please don't leave me Kaila, please." Vanessa begged.
"She's lost a lot of blood, we'll have a better chance if we take her to the hospital, come on." Brian wrapped sheets around Kaila and picked her up. Vanessa rushing behind him begging Kaila to stay. Kaila looked up at the ceiling and everything went dark.
