Kia, I have to disagree with you on that. Different set of assumptions to begin preface the argument.

If your gonna date someone - dont use my skin color and what u preceive it means to be your reason for doing so. That's very different from me saying I'll only date guys with big bamboo [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

it can go both ways Sue. A jamaican woman can choose ot marry a jamaican man simply because she feels the communication skills needed would be better facilitated in an environment where both parties have the same cultural upbringing, not knowledge of, but experience.

I leave it to the laws of attraction, some are attracted to blacks, whites, asians, or indians for whatever reason, we have to respect that. The bible teaches love between a man and a woman, not between a black and a white or among blacks and whites only. We need to see past the racial divide. What I dislike is the dishonesty when justifying the relationships. Don't say Sistas have an attitude cuz u haven't met all, be honest, you are not attracted to black women and that's it. It is a defense mechanism because they know they will be questioned about their choice if not attacked for it. By making such a statement they are already forcing us to look within ourselves and question everything about us, looks, personality, everything.

Sadly, however, the blame isn't with us, but if this were a crime, it would be a simple case of blame the victim. I didn't pick u cuz u weren't good enough rather than saying, I am not attracted to you but nothing is wrong with you.
