Here's the situation

I have a casual acquaintance who I have known for about 15 years or so. It's a very casual thing, we have many friends in common and the only time I ever talk to him is when I bump into him some where. He's a really nice guy, hard working etc.

Okay so I got an email from him the other day saying it was nice running into you last time and we should go out for a drink sometime.

I emailed him back told him it would have to be later in the month etc and gave him my work email as I don't check hotmail much.

Today I get an email from him responding to some questions I had asked and confirming our plans but then he says I'm going to send you some info for your mkting dept [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img]

Was I just networked? and should I even bother with drinks?

The info was relevant and my mkt guy was glad to get it and all soooooo.....?

Well...this is kind of a toughy...

He may be trying to be slick and make it SEEM like it is all business, just so im nuh look a fool if you nuh interested in di sed way, seen?

OR it could just be business...has he ever asked you out for "Business drinks" before??
