The bigger question is, why do women/men feel the need to pursue someone that is not theirs?

I remember when Monica Lewinsky was being interviewed and the question was asked, why did she pursue the president. She answered, because she didnt beleive she was worth more than being "second best".

That really stuck with me because I couldnt understand how someone puts them self out there with someone already married......

Self-worth is a helluva ting.

She said why cant PEOPLE be faithful, not just men. It takes a nother woman to accomadate a man's unfaithfulness, college or otherwise.

However, when men fear women's unfaithfulness it called a chastity belt.

Well, the expectation is there because the promise is there...dont tell me something that u have no intention of honouring....

So your point is that women should never expect a man to be faithful to them. Therefore, it is not unreasonable for a man to never expect faithfulness from his woman and thus learn to live with his jacket(s).

I am waaaay too angry to think straight on the subject to give much thought and respond to blu's mess. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]

It seem to me that money talks. Until the gov't stepped in and started heavily fining dead-beat men who did not care for their children, they got away with playing a fool.

Now, I think the next thing to do is HEAVILY FINE both the MAN and the WOMAN who is responsible for breaking a union. That is the lowest show of no respect in my eyes.

Forget about what is fantasy etc., if two people are married, they have a responsibility to the people they marry, society and even they people they took their oath in front of, to keep their marrige together.

If one decide to stray and do things that can jeopardize the union, whoever is involved, should be HEAVILY FINED. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img]

When they are hit in the pocket, then, they will learn...I think.

Zarah, even if money is involved people will still find ways to be unethical, unfortunately...

To me its logical, if u feel to give me bun, leave mi and let mi cry and wipe my snotty nose and get over you.

Especially if then man is the one who promises me that I am his sun, moon and stars...If u change your mind, leave me, please. Cause I will do the same.

Sad thing is, I seem to be the married man magnet. I'd have no trouble getting a date on Satruday night if only I'd hate myself enough to be someone's mistress....heavy sigh

What was the time period between the confirmation of paternity and the filing of the divorce? Was it her choice or at the suggestion of "friends" which seem to be plenty involved in this private matter

You are so right. I can understand when boys and girls are young, impressionable and adventurous, but why the same games when they have advanced in age? [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img] Just be honest for god sakes.

They obviously just want to have their cake and eat it too, but I think that even though FINES might not STOP the madness, it would possibly slow things down a bit...hopefully.

I hear you, but to be honest, answering that or any other personal question would be going waaaay too far up into their beeswax, so I don't know, is my best answer.

I tried to find the post about it, since I am not in the mood to recall the full hundred, but couldn't find it.

She said that it is over, and I respect her decision. As a friend I can only lend my support, like friends are suppose to do, when requested.

Girl it is too much to get any more involved. I just say, Different strokes - Different Folks.
