He was a blind date, set up by my friend who INSISTS that I jump right back into the "dating scene" since my long term relationship ended (by me) a few months ago.
Even though I told her that I didn't feel ready, inspired or generous at the moment, she insisted...so I surrendered
I must admit, the guy was very handsome and since I had heard so much about him and have spoken with him a few times, I was looking forward to meeting him. He is tall, dark and very handsome...just the way I like MY MEN. Athletic build, bald with midnight-blue eyes. He dressed immaculately and smelled like a man who knows his cologne. He boasts a solid background, well educated (both academically and the streets of hard knocks) and is highly regarded in his field. The man was FINE.
He bought me flowers and a book "The Secret" and the conversation was on point. We went to a great restaurant, had a delicious dinner and really had a fantastic time.
When it was time to say our goodbyes, he walked me to my door, and we embraced - I trusted him as he is well known in my county, is an upstanding citizen as well as my friends good friend.
He was a pure gentleman. He suggested that we go out again soon and I agreed that it would be great...
As soon as I entered my house, my cell phone rang and it was him. My first thought was, *what a gentleman*
. There was a change in his voice however, an urgent change. I immediately said "are you ok"? he barely responded but said "please, I need to use your bathroom".
I didn't know what to do. My babysitter was standing in the hallway and saw the look on my face. I normally DO NOT invite dates into my home, but what to do? I thought, the downstairs bathroom can't hurt.
Well...
