i think a serious relationship develops over time - spending weekends together, telephone conversations

the relationship becomes serious on it's own

Even though she did not tell me, apparently he'd been asking HER to introduce us for some time now. She made it seem as if it was HER who told HIM about me. That is why she has been completely cut off from hearing anything (especially the good things) about our relationship.
