Engagement rings

Never been the traditional sort so I never wanted an engagement ring when I was engaged to my late husband. I only wanted a plain gold wedding band. Also, I am not getting engaged or anything ...now that those issues are out of your way ...

I am now at the age where my friends' children are getting married. And so many things have changed! There are now wedding websites of the couple and everyone has a custom-designed engagement ring - ok, I guess.

Tell me what your thoughts are on engagement rings.

Well If I am to be engaged I want an engagement ring.

coulda plastic, cubic zirconian, even piece a wire I want the symbolic gesture.

But I do agree that putting my future husband in debt for an engagement ring is foolish.

A couple I know is getting married in October. They have a very nice modern custom engagement ring.
