U know I did - she told me that she ALWAYS knew she was being used - on her core level she knew his game and knew how she was facilitating it - butit was almost as if as long as she stayed in that little circle she was powerless to say no to him...

she said she saw the same thing manifested in his boys... he advised (commanded) practically exevery aspect of their lives and they did whatever he told them to do unquestioningly...

She said she can;t think of anytime within those 4 years that she ever felt happy or free from anxiety...

it was just some sort of svengali thing he did to her... \o/

very, very true.

I know many on here would say we shouldnt feel sorry for her but I do. We are not all made from the same stuff on the inside. I'm sure I'd want to knock her in her head at some points if I was her friend but a corner of me would always feel for her that she wasnt strong enough to pull herself away earlier......i guess i'm becoming tender hearted in my old age [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img] </div></div>

he found her vulnerable point and used it to his advantage. I dont feel sorry for her because she 'woke up' and made a point to move on. I am proud that she did get away from him, albeit at her own schedule. Jazz I do hope that she has gotten some therapy to understand what in her caused her to be captivated by this man and work through it. (((Simone)))

She did not recover from the first drama she had before moving to another state. Sometimes we need to give ourselves time to heal properly from mess totally before fully moving on, cause undoubtfully you will find yourself in a bigger mess than before. That man should be exposed as a way to open eyes to others who might fall and or is in this situation.

You know when the situation developed and i knew the ex wife was still a member of the church - it occurred to me that she may still be under his control...
