... a 'bad' person?
My favourite grocery store has a 'special' person as a bagger. He's special cause he's got Down Syndrome. While I have nothing against him as a person, I do have something against his habit.
Whenever he bags, he always licks his fingers to get the bags apart and then pack your groceries.
I hate, hate, HATE that!
If I see that he's the bagger for a certain checkout, I'll join another line, no matter how long it is...
Sometimes though, if he's done at his checkout, he'll come over to the one I'm at
Sometimes oonuu fi si how mi quick a grab mi sitn dem a shub dem eena de bag caw mi no waa im touch dem wid im spit-up finga
Dis is de ting: I know that he 'senses' something. He's always hesitant whenever my turn comes up. If he's chatty and smiling with other shoppers, as soon as I approach, his manner changes. He watches me like him tink mi a go tump im or I'm going to start cussing
I can see him struggling with the decision to pack my bags or not.
I don't want him to get into trouble - cause he can't just be standing there and not packing.
At the same time, I don't want him packing my bags. Period. I feel if I should say so, I would be labelled and worse, it would hurt him.
I feel awful
