I will not begin to bash Jamaican men because I'm dating one who defines my happiness. The man in mentioned is not Jamaican... He's an American and has no children, never been married and is not the typical guy who jumps from relationship to relationship. Believe, we have done our own investigation. I just think he's having commitment phobia but I think my girlfriend is getting the wrong end of the deal...

on a serious note..........maybe the guy is seeing someone else or is not interested in a real relationship..........unfortunately you can talk till you are blue in the face about facing reality but some people have to get burn real bad before listening.

I feel that it's a desperate attempt to hold on to this guy since this is the first real relationship for her in years. I sadden by it because she is my friend. I care about her but unfortunately, there are women who suffer from low self-esteem and when a good looking man shows some form of attention, they're desperate to hold on to the little that is there and refuse to accept the red flags. I sense that she may be experiencing those issue. And to answer you question, I'm not sure what is discussed when he appeared because I feel she's walking on egg shells to keep the relationship. When I asked her, all she mentioned was that God is truly in control and that He still answers prayer... This is really tough talking about...

CRose she is an adult. She will have to decide for herself. I knew someone who was warned about a relationship for many years. She wouldn't listen to anyone. In the end, she was badly hurt by the man and she finally had no choice but to move on.

Pray for your friend and hope that she will wake up and also that she won't go through a horrible heart break.
