50 years later, two friends visit Toronto kindergarten where they met

Theresa Fedyk and Elaine Smyer became friends on the first day of kindergarten in 1963 and have stayed close ever since. Tuesday, they returned to their old school.

Elaine Smyer and Theresa Fedyk met in kindergarten at Indian Road Crescent Public School 50 years ago. They're still close friends today. On the first day of class, they returned to the place where they grew close - and reflected on how education has changed in half a century.

I have a friend I met in first grade (xx years ago ). We lost touch for a few years, both of us moved to Florida from NY and I ran into her in a strip mall. We picked up where we left off.

I have a couple other friends for more than 15 years...is that considered long term?

One girlfriend from high school our families are like real families(38yrs). Next girlfriend show me the ropes when me just start work out of college(30yrs) and the 3rd one 15 years

My best friend and I went to the same high school then UWI where we became fast friends. She lives in NJ and I live in DC. Our now grown sons have spent summer holidays at each other's house. These boys are now 24 years old and act like cousins. We don't talk or see each other often but that is not an issue for either of us. We are low maintenance friends

I have a few more life-long friends and I have friends who are my friends for life. Yep. I'm sure about that.

ithink anyone who can be sustained for more than 5 years these days is a long friendship. i ended up working with a girl i went to primary school, junior high and high school with. we always hung out like a gang especially in the long winter walks to school. anyway ended up working at the same company and just picked up on our chatterbaxification.

i'm pretty low maintenance - won't be any bridesmaid anytime soon. but i'll decorate and buy party favours.

I have loyal, tried and true friends. We are there for each other. Most of my close friends-male and females, I know from back home since High School and one and 2 from All-Age and 1 from Basic school.
