Its a shame, but in my line of work, mi hear all kinna reason why dem gwine "stay and work it out". Unfortunately, mi neva hear a good reason yet. Aye Sah.

Yeah Donnika, mi read it an tink bout David people dem... the difference I guess, is that David's sister has denied it and the husband has denied it and I guess this denial facilitates her continued cohabitation...

There's a huge possibility that he raped/forced the mother and she got pregnant with the daughter. It is also possible that he is still emotionally or even physically abusing the mother. She's afraid of him for some reason hence the reason she is not doing anything about it.
