So Derrick returns from his trip with ring in hand and calls me up for a chat and he stopped over to visit us at the house and we sit and talk he tells me how he feels about Stacey and then he drops the bombshell on me, he is planning on asking her to marry him. Of course mi fly up awfa di chari naily drap awfa di deck when mi see di ring, him show mi an it is beautiful.

So anyhow we talk and he swears me to secrecy, missa marie him juss a walk roun di ring a survey ie like real estate . He returns to New York and three weeks go by without any question being popped so I asked him over the phone one day what's going on. he tells me he's feeling her out. So she proceeds to tell me that Trisha never showed up for a fitting of the bridesmaid gown but a mi wrong mi did tell har she fi mi maid of honor was dere all when mi a choose di panty she was rite dere helpin mi choose it suh she though Trish should be there. With no explanation the girl didn't show up.
